For any power motorboat operation on tidal waters, you must successfully complete a boating safety course approved by the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) to receive a New Jersey Boating Safety Course Certificate. The Walk Tonbridge Club is a relaxed walking group open to everyone. It’s a great way to meet new people and to experience beautiful walks in and around Tonbridge and beyond. Join us for a summery circular walk of the Penshurst estate on one of the longest days of the year. This walk will be a pretty 3.5 route around the beautiful Penshurst Estate. It will lead us up and downhill, with stunning views over Penshurst Place and back towards Tonbridge. As the sun sets we may spot deer and other wildlife on our walk. There is one hill on this walk and some stiles en-route, but the most of the route is flat or downhill. We will walk at a relaxed pace as to allow the chance to socialise with our fellow walkers and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We would recommend that you wear suitable footwear and remember to bring a waterproof jacket, as well as warm clothing. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead around livestock and when walking on or near roads. After our walk there will be an option to enjoy a drink at The Leicester Arms (own expense).
