Travel suggestions: day1: Take the high-speed train from Chengdu to Xi'an North, and try to choose one that arrives earlier (before 15:00). After getting off the train, take either Line 4 or Line 2. I recommend staying near Hepingmen subway station (40 minutes direct from Xi'an North Station on Line 4). It's advised to book the hotel two days in advance, plan your schedule well, and book several days at once (recommend Vienna and Hanting hotels). If you're not tired, you can walk around the Xi'an City Wall at night, and then take photos at the Bell Tower and Drum Tower below (don't spend money to go up). day2: Get up early in the morning and queue up for breakfast at Xiaonanmen, check in with beef pancakes, vegetable buns, and fried dough twists with soy milk (personally, I'm more accustomed to soy milk with fried dough sticks). If you want to have a panoramic view of the mountains, it's recommended to take the cable car up from the west and down from the north. If you're physically fit, you can hike up from the north and then take the cable car down from the west. Be sure to pick a non-holiday or a regular day to go, otherwise, it's too crowded and dangerous, and most importantly, you won't get to experience the plank walk in the sky. We went during the Spring Festival and didn't manage to queue up, and I guess we won't have the courage to climb Mount Hua again, a bit of regret. day4: Similarly, we joined a tour to the Terracotta Army. Actually, it's not much different from what you see on TV. If you want to truly experience the ancient people's masterpiece, it's still worth a visit, as it varies from person to person.
