Interesting twin water towers built 1923
Interesting twin water towers built in 1923. These double towers seem to be still in use but unfortunately you cant really get close to them since they are fenced off. The main attraction seems to be...
It is said that it is active and valuable worldwide in the twin water tower. It was written that if you go a little further from Sakura Jingu, there is a water tower derived board and it is located ahead of the water supply road 300m that extends straight. On the wall at the end of the 300m there was an explanation board for the water supply station installed in Showa 20 year, and I went around to find a place where the twin water towers could be seen well around the left. 15 It took a minute. It stands in the lush trees. I can't put it inside, because it's surrounded by rust and densely populated residential areas, and the greenery is growing. ...
It's a pity that you can only enter on the day you can visit, but if you are interested in old buildings, I recommend it. It is about 10 from Sakurashinmachi Station. I think it's hard to find unless you go nearby.
It is still an active water tower, and it is decided to distribute water to local residents in the event of the earthquake. It is a little difficult to understand from the station of Sakurashincho, but it is recommended to go to the water tower from the water supply site of the capital (there is a signboard). The outer circumference is around the private house, but it is quite large and takes about 20 minutes. It is likely to be lit up on New Year's Eve, Tokyo Metropolitan Day (10/1), Waterworks Week (6/1~ 7), and Sakurashinmachi Sakura Festival (around the beginning of April).
There was a model shop I used to go to in the neighborhood of this place, so I went there, but it was closed. It's about a 15-minute walk from Komazawa University Station, and it's surrounded by fences and you can't get close to it. Also, there are residential buildings around, so it is difficult to see the whole view. It's a bigger tower than I expected, and it's overwhelming when viewed from a close distance. I would like to go inside, but I didn't know the schedule for opening it to the public.

You can only enter it for limited time.
