The Platform 9 3/4 is one of Harry's first experience of the Wizarding World. During production. many scenes were shot on location at the busy train station in the centre of London. There is a section of the platform was created on-set for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 and any scenes inside the train were shot on a special interior carriage set complete with green screen windows. Harry Potter's fans are invited to step onto the Platform 9 3/4 and board the Hogwarts Express. Admission tickets have to be purchased in advance for a specific date and time. I’ve been a Potterhead eversince my childhood day, and finally after years becoming one, I can fullfil my childhood dream; go to Hogwarts on September 1st and wear the uniform pretending I’m one of Hogwarts student. The only outdoor area inside Harry Potter Tokyo Studio is at Privet Drive. It is before Hogwarts Express Train and after Backlot cafe. But first you will see the pumpkin patch, an open field with many pumpkin. Before you arrive at Privet Drive, you can have a butter beer and enjoy a nice afternoon with all the other wizards. At Privet Drive, you will see life size of everything, from buses, scooters, houses and completed based from the author’s childhood home. For all the Harry Potter fans, you will need to indicate a time slot for entry into Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter. Within he given 1 hour time slot, you have to enter the theme park. But you can come early and browse the merchandise shop and have breakfast at the cafe. There is another entrance inside to check your entry time slot. I have chosen a 11am admission entry with guidebook and audio guide. Upon entering, I have to collect the audio guide and guidebook from to different places. Then I had breakfast before entering the theme park. #visittokyo Spellbound! I have the greatest time at the #harrypotterstudiotour Tokyo! I am never so thankful that I bought two tickets to visit it twice over the same weekend during my short stay in Tokyo. The studio is enormous with plenty of artefacts, replicas of movie set (life sized) for great photo opportunities! Love the food presentation, I ate a most delicious chicken fillet and Mandrake! Visiting it two days gave me ample time to explore it more and immerse myself in the richness of the fascinating elements of the making of the Harry Potter films. It also provided more time to allow enjoyment of the various interactive experiences. The Quidditch match and the Broom Riding experiences are just not to be missed! Fans of the Wizarding world, film making fanatics and muggles would be able to enjoy it differently, it is a tour suitable for all. For witches and wizards wannabes and Hogwarts alumni, pack your wands and cloaks, you will feel right at home!

As a pseudo-Harry Potter fan (having seen two movies and parts of others, and read snippets of the novels), I had the fortune to experience the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter two days ahead of its official opening. I'm still not over it. From a personal perspective, let's talk about whether it's worth the visit for the average tourist. ⭕ This is the second Harry Potter studio in the world and the only one in Asia. It's essentially a Harry Potter set, where every aspect of the grand universe of the Harry Potter series is displayed in as much detail as possible. ⭕ Although it's the famous Harry Potter, there are certainly people who haven't seen it or don't know much about it. The studio has taken this into account, with various interactive sections that are fun and sensory experiences suitable for all ages. Everyone can easily feel the magic of the wizarding world. ⭕ Of course, for Harry Potter fans, this place is undoubtedly a paradise of celebration, where dreams are turned into reality. The various recreations will surely delight everyone! ⭕ The Butterbeer is really delicious, you must try it, and you can take the cup home as a souvenir. Also, try the Owl Cake (strawberry cream chiffon cake, not sure if there will be other flavors later). ⭕ Some people might compare this to Universal Studios Osaka, but the two are completely different types and can't be compared. If possible, I suggest visiting both. ⭕ The merchandise shops are too tempting, with robes, wands, and all sorts of branded merchandise available! The Harry Potter Studio Tour is located on the site of the former Toshimaen. It's full of highlights, so it's better to go there from noon at the latest. I only managed to get a night ticket, so I had to rush through the tour. The park has an incredible Harry Potter atmosphere, and I felt like I was enrolling at Hogwarts. I recommend seeing the exhibits outside during both day and night. The bus that was running through London in the movies was lit up and looked very beautiful. There are few restrooms, so it's better to go when you find one. The food at all the cafes was delicious, so it was fun to compare them!
