Before visiting Jinci, I kept wondering why it was called the Jinci Museum. After visiting Jinci, I realized that this place is indeed a large-scale live-action museum. Architectures from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, Countless sculptures, steles, plaques, couplets, and ancient trees from various dynasties. If you want to take a closer look, you really need to spend a whole day here. 📷 Upon entering, the first thing that catches your eye is the Shuijing Platform. Jinci Temple is definitely worth visiting multiple times. I've seen countless models before, but seeing the real thing for the first time was still very exciting. The ancient trees reach the sky, complemented by the flying eaves and corners, it's absolutely beautiful. The entire scenic area is very large, with a free park outside that is as beautifully maintained as the Summer Palace, with pavilions, towers, and beautiful views at every step. Especially during sunset, when the sunlight shines on the icy surface, it feels like the entire building is shimmering. The sculptures in Jinci Temple are also extraordinary, lifelike. In short, this scenic spot is a must-visit when you come to Shanxi. It's a pity that it's winter now and the trees are bare. It should be even more beautiful in summer.
