I went to Naoshima, Hand Island and Dog Island in order. Time wasn’t very crowded, but it was already the third day of the trip, when I was a little tired of contemporary art, so my heart beat when I saw the ruins of the smelter (or, more precisely, ruins).. The museum is fun too, but I love the black bricks assembled. There are all kinds of things like hexagonal and cylindrical chimneys, which is fun. I walk but not so tired.

Many art galleries have amazing places, but basically photography is prohibited, no wonder photos are rarely seen. My favorite is the Indosama Refinery Museum, especially the Infinity Corridor of Indosama Refinery.
The abandoned copper smelter, built in 1909, was rebuilt by one-third of architects and reopened in 2008, giving new life to art. It is composed of Liu Xingdian's works, inspired by Yukio Mishima's works "Sun and Iron" and "Sound of Ying Ling" in order to pay tribute to the Japanese writer Yukio Mishima. One third of Bozhi combines natural environment with chimneys, underground tunnels and glass houses to make the gallery naturally ventilated. Six artistic installations of Liu Xingdian are placed along with the structure. When I get to the gallery, I will put the camera away. I collect it too slowly. As a result, I have finished collecting the people in front of me. Here, for everyone to have a good experience, I will enter in groups of about five or six people. The last one I enter, I can't see the people in front, there is no light in the passageway, only a light in the far front. It's dark all around. There's a weak wind on both sides. It feels empty and far away. I feel like I'm going to another world and walking. I want to look back. It turns out to be a strange sun, looking at you like a soul's eye. Turning and going forward, there is another light ahead. Turning back, the sun still stares at you. Continuing to go forward is the place where the next cycle begins. So repeatedly, it seems that we have really experienced a cycle and realized the feeling that people are going to die.
a nice place for island hoping in the art festivalthe island is relatively small. the museum is interesting and the style is very different from those ando ones on other islands
