The most Satisfying Soba in Okayama

We found this corner building in Okayama selling soba that was so attractive and decided to give it a try. In fact the restaurant’s name in Japanese is “ Noodle God of Wheat”! There was a short line when we arrived and we waited about 15 minutes to get a seat. As usual, tickets can be bought at the machine near the entrance. We ordered the most attractive soba with 4 slices of pork lining the rim of the bowl. It just looked so good that we didn’t want to dip our chopsticks into it! The thick chicken broth was rich and full of flavor in every way while the soba- made in house - was cooked to the perfect texture! The gyoza were also fantastic- crispy on the outside and , juicy inside. Just delicious! Definitely recommending this place for your soba crave when visiting Okayama ! Do note that their lunch session ends at 14:15; and there is a long 3 hours break before dinner session starts. Parking is available just across the road.
