It is an overpass that spans the Mitaka rolling stock center. You can see the Sobu Line and Tozai Line vehicles. The East Eye of the test vehicle was included on this day. I could see Mt. Fuji in the back. Osamu Dazai also visited.
A humanitarian bridge that crosses the Chuo Line, which Osamu Dazai also passed by. You can also overlook the Mitaka garage on the Sobu Line and Tozai Line, so even children will not get tired of it.
I stopped by while taking a walk from Musashi border to Mitaka. I wanted to see the scenery from this overpass once. I could see the trains and vehicle bases passing by up close. I was watching the train with several parents and children on the overpass. What kind of view is it when the winter sunset around January? I want to come again.
You can see it by walking west of Mitaka Station for about 10 minutes. It looks beautiful that the Chuo Line tracks extend straight from Mitaka Station on the ground station to the elevated Musashi Sakai Station. It is also close to the garage, so it is a good spot to see the Sobu Line and Tozai Line vehicles.
It crosses the Chuo Line and the wide Mitaka Shako depot railroad tracks. (Length about 90 m Width 3m) Dazai fans know. Dazai lives in Mitaka and often visits and seems to appear in novels. Famous for railroad enthusiasts. Built in 1945, it is a valuable bridge that retains its original appearance. It's not smart because of its bare steel structure, but it looks sturdy. I always take pictures of the trains that railroad enthusiasts run down the Chuo Sobu Line and stop in the garage. Rail lovers ...
