Tiny museum off the beaten track

Hidden beside the larger Shoshu-ji temple, behind the main shopping district, this is a recreation of the poet Shiki's childhood home. Since the house was tiny, there is very little to see once yo...

    Precincts of temples

    Original Text

It was a place that you could walk across the railroad crossing on the suburban line from Matsuyama City Station. It is a building relocated to the precincts of the temple (Shiki Masaoka's family temple). There was a reception on the right when I entered the precincts. The building itself was reproduced in the floor and living room. A passenger car of the Botchan train was exhibited outside.

    Sub-rule の Zhongjian Review が White い

    Original Text

It is close to Matsuyama City Station. It seems that Shiki relocated the house where he lived in Matsuyama. It's not a hairy one, but the comment that Shiki compared his friends to food is interesting.

    in the temple.

    Original Text

It is located in a temple called Shosoji Temple. If you go south on the east side of Takashimaya, you will find the entrance to the temple on the west side of the road. It feels like you can enter as it is, but there is a reception properly. It is a wooden Heike building built in imitation of a mansion that I spent until the age of 17. It is fulfilling for a cheap price.

there's a desk that shiki actually used.

    Original Text

Admission is free as it is about a 5-minute walk from Matsuyama City Station. The desks and brushes that Shiki Masaoka actually used are on display.
