Unfortunately, the traffic is very inconvenient. Generally, the hotel will pick up people at the Baigu Hot Spring Station, so contact in advance. We live there between the Highland and the Saddle. We leave at 3:45 in the afternoon and leave at 8:25 in the morning. The Baigu Hot Spring leaves the saddle. I feel that the stay is too short. Next time you have the opportunity, you must stay for two more days.

Baigu Hot Spring is a hot spring town located in the deep mountains. There are many hot spring hotels in the town, and several of them allow guests not to stay in the hot springs from 10 am to 2 pm. The scenery in winter is beautiful, and it is excellent to feel in the outdoor hot spring when it snows. I passed from Matsumoto in February and chose the avanoyu hotel. Take the "Upper Heights Line" from Matsumoto Station to the terminal Xindao Island Station (note ⚠️ no ic card can be used by the car), and buy a bus ticket after getting off the bus (note ⚠️ only two trips a day to Baigu Hot Spring Town, about 70 minutes by car. If you don't stay in the hot springs, you must take the 8:40 bus. Once you miss it, you can only take a taxi (about 9,000 yen), if you stay, you can take the second bus at 14:10. The specific train number will be adjusted according to the season, and you can check on the official website of Baigu Hot Spring. In addition, some hotels such as Soaking の have special parking spots. When buying a ticket, you can directly choose to buy the soup. In-house guests and non-in-house guests who soak in the soup are at different entrances. You can enjoy the open-air hot springs and it is a mixed bath for men and women, but don't worry about the embarrassment of walking. The store has protection measures. Soaking の Soup does not provide meals for non-in-house guests. After soaking, you can walk 1 km to the small restaurant in the town to eat bowls of buckwheat noodles (winter road narrow road slippery need to pay attention to passing vehicles, you have to wear thicker).
