Golden moments in Kamikochi

The highlight of my 1 week trip to Japan is visiting Kamikochi (上高地). It is only open between mid-Apr to mid-Nov every year. You can easily reach here by taking bus or train from Matsumoto. This is definitely one of the best place to enjoying a nice hike in nature, admiring the autumn leaves and breathing in fresh mountain air. You can choose between several well crafted routes (flat terrains) which may take you between 2-4 hours. The temp in Oct was very cooling at 15-19 degrees and I even had an ice cream at my half way point. 😀 Highly recommend to add this to your Japan itinerary if you visit during autumn. #fallvibes #solotrip #japan #goldenmoments #kamikochi
