Kamikochi: A Park in the Midst of the Japan Alps

Kamikochi is one of the most talked-about destinations in Japan in recent years. Why do people go there? Where is it located? Let's take a look at this review. Kamikochi is located in the Nagano National Park, part of the Northern Japan Alps. It is naturally beautiful in every season. Last year, I went during the autumn foliage season, so this year I decided to go during the spring instead. The park is open from April 17 to November 15 every year (it is closed during winter when there are no vehicles running, and you have to walk in by yourself). The highlights include Taisho Pond and Kappa Bridge, both about 4 km in distance, walking along the Azusa River. On the other side is Myojin Pond, also 4 km away. If you plan to go for a walk, you should allow enough time and prepare appropriate clothing.
