Wanfo Temple is located in Paitou Village opposite Shatin Railway Station. It was built by Master Yuexi in 1949 and completed in 1957. The monastery sits on the mountain and is divided into two groups of high and low buildings, with a total of 5 halls, 4 pavilions, 1 gallery and 1 tower. it’s definitely worth visiting whether your a Buddhist or not. to add to my experience there were hundreds of monkeys roaming around, ‼️but be extremely careful carrying things around and especially plastic bags, my sisters phone got stolen during the experience by these wild monkeys‼️
From Sha Tin Railway Station to Pai Tau Village, go straight up the path between the Government Offices and Baofu Mountain. There are five Luohan rows on both sides, along the road, you can enjoy the different Luohan statues in each posture.
