My boyfriend and I weren’t planning on visiting the waterfall as it was so far from Ubud. This is the most amazing place I’ve ever seen. The road down to the waterfall is steep but worth it. I would recommend this place to all who come to Ubud for a trip! Many of the photos that are thought to be of this waterfall are actually wrong - the waterfall with an eco cafe next to it is not. But they are all on the same road. There is a small pool formed by a dam. You have to pay to get in but it is beautiful and well maintained. There is also the most basic bathroom. Our driver recommended us the Bayumala Falls, but we decided to come to Mduke Falls considering the age of the child and the good reviews on the Internet.
