"The museum itself is a meticulously preserved Qing Dynasty-era courtyard residence, lovingly restored to its former glory and meticulously curated to showcase the daily life, customs, and craftsmanship of Chengdu's inhabitants centuries ago. Each room and alcove tells a story, with antique furniture, delicate ceramics, and intricate artwork evoking the elegance and simplicity of traditional Sichuanese living.Business Hours:8am to 6pmAddress: chengdu sichuan china"

"The steps in the front mountain are very annoying, wide or narrow, relatively slippery, but it is okay if there are not many people. Many thatched pavilions in the middle have been in disrepair for a long time, and the risk coefficient is relatively high. The whole experience, the ecological environment is very good, the quality of tourists is very high (the roadside does not see garbage), the humanistic experience is relatively rich, and the degree of commercialization is average. If it is not really impossible to walk, the ropeway and cruise ship have nothing to see, pure tools. The price/performance ratio is very high."
    Dujiangyan.Qingcheng Piedmont Scenic Area
    >100km from Emeishan
Highlights: Qingcheng Mountain is dubbed as the "most quiet and secluded place in the world". It is the birthplace of Taoism and there are many Taoist temples to explore there. Qingcheng Mountain is divided into two mountain areas: Qingcheng Front Mountain and Qingcheng Back Mountain. They require separate tickets. The Front Mountain is where Taoist culture and cultural relics are concentrated. When visitors talk about “Qingcheng Mountain”, they often refer to the front mountain; Qingcheng Back Mountain is known for its natural scenery making it a good place for vacation and leisure.

"To visit Chengdu, I specially came to Leshan Giant Buddha. Because I took the child, I chose the cruise. The child was very happy to take the boat and eat. I also visited the Leshan Museum. Let the baby have a very meaningful 6.1 Children's Day."
    Leshan.Leshan Giant Buddha
    28.8km from Emeishan
Highlights: The Leshan Giant Buddha is located on a rock wall of the Lingyun Mountain at the junction of Leshan's Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River in Sichuan. It is a sacred place for Buddhist and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Leshan Giant Buddha depicts a seated image of Maitreya and it is an exquisite piece of cliff-carving work from the Tang Dynasty. The colossal statue is about 70 metres high and over 1,300-years-old, making it the largest stone Buddha in the world, and by far the tallest pre-modern statue. It took an astonishing three generations of craftmen and 90 years to complete. When viewing the tall and majestic Giant Buddha, one cannot help but marvel at the wisdom of the ancients. In the absence of modern large-scale tools, they were still able to leave such a legacy.

"The entire site museum covers a large area, like a large park. Always compare Sands to Samsung Dui. I personally feel that the fun and the number of collections are definitely not as good as Samsung Dui, but Sands is part of the site, and this immersive feeling is not bad. Overall it is worth seeing."
    Chengdu.Jinsha site/Yipintianxia
    >100km from Emeishan
Highlights: The Jinsha site contains the remains of the Shang and Zhou dynasties. The Jinsha Site Museum is built on the Jinsha site and consists of buildings such as the Heritage Museum, the Exhibition Hall and the Jinsha Theater. The discovery of the Jinsha site has wound back the urban history of Chengdu to 3,000 years ago. Among the many exhibits in the museum, the most famous is the "Golden Sun Bird Gold Foil". The gold foil is round and comprises the inner ring of the sun and the outer ring of a divine bird. It expresses the superior standards of the gold craftsmanship of the ancient kingdom of Shu. The relics hall of the museum is the excavation place of the Jinsha relics commemorative site, where visitors can watch the archaeological excavation happening at close range.

"Architecture: The museum is chic in shape, with a sense of vision from a distance, and the line sense comes to your face. It is different from the simple and beautiful Forbidden City. Zhejiang Bo is low-key, reserved and restrained. Shangbo Haipai is elegant. Chengbo has a feeling of UFO and Samsung pile. When there are few people, you can take pictures of the environment and traffic: Just on the west side of Tianfu Square, next to the Art Museum Science and Technology Museum, this plan is very special, you can take a one-stop cultural and martial arts, the urban planning of the Chengdu Municipal Government is really in place. The transportation is very convenient with the subway, and the taxi is in order. You can sit at Starbucks and watch the traffic here, which is really a different kind of scenery. The furnishings in the museum: I mainly saw the 234th floor, and the 1st floor Mexico exhibition is to be opened. The lighting design in the museum is reasonable, the cultural relics are arranged in a sophisticated manner, and the pictures and texts are introduced, which can quickly get to the core idea of the exhibition. Shown in the order of the times, there is a feeling of crossing. The treasures of the two town halls are also very shocking. Guide explanation: The first manual explanation booked by Trip.com, I was confused and booked a group of one person. 🤪 I only knew 😆 Seweng lost the horse when I called in the morning. In addition to the per capita cost of a single time, there is really nothing wrong with it. Wang Dao came and quickly immersed himself in the explanation, especially in the Song Dynasty, I almost thought I could meet Dongpo University academicians. This feeling is that dozens of machine explanations or VR glasses cannot be given. You can basically understand the history of Chengdu 3,000 years within 2.5 hours. The rise and fall of the dynasty and the law of survival seem to be popularized from children. It's a little late then. I highly recommend this tour guide brother."

"The most romantic thing I can think of is riding horses and playing with my beloved on Mount Siguniang."
    Xiaojin
    >100km from Emeishan
Highlights: Mount Siguniang, also known as “Skubla” in Tibetan, is a large mountain with four sharp peaks, and is the highest of the Qionglai Mountains. It is located in Aba Prefecture’s Xiaojin County near Rilong Town. The peaks of Mount Siguniang are covered with snow the whole year round. The mountain’s name means “the Four Sisters”, because the four peaks are reminiscent of four beautiful maidens shrouded in white veils. The scenic area consists of the four snow covered peaks and the three valleys: Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. Tickets for Haizi Valley are sold separately. An excursion to Mount Siguniang for holiday is recommended to plan at least three days for your trip. (For a proper visit, each of the valleys needs at least one full day.) If your time is limited, we suggest you first go to Changping Valley and Haizi Valley, as you cannot see the four peaks from Shuangqiao Valley. Many outdoor lovers like to go hiking between the valleys and will camp out overnight.
