Yonghou Mausoleum Review

The Song Mausoleum, the imperial tomb of the Northern Song Dynasty, is located in Gongyi City, Henan Province. It was built in the first year of Gande (963 years). It is the tomb of the emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty and his burial chamber. There are more than 300 tombs in the Song Mausoleum, covering an area of about 156 square kilometers, and more than 700 stone carvings, which have important cultural relics and artistic value. The tomb group covers the remaining seven emperors in the Northern Song Dynasty except the second Huiqin, plus the tombs of Zhao Yu's father Zhao Yuyin, collectively known as the "Seven Emperors and Eight Mausoleums". There are more than 300 tombs of the Queen's Mausoleum, the tomb of the royal family, and the tomb of the famous generals Xunchen. The tombs of ministers such as Yuan Zhun and Bao Zheng are also among them. Song Ling established several kinds of the first river to set up the mausoleum area, reflecting the orderly and hierarchical royal order, forming a theoretical rigorous and unique royal funeral culture. The cemetery stone statue is long and elegant, reflecting the characteristics of the Song Dynasty. Zhao Yushou Mausoleum's warrior image is lively and vivid, natural and casual, reflecting the Song Dynasty's close to the people and the Republic of China. This tomb can be very convenient to take a bus in Gongyi City. I have been there once and I feel a bit desolate. I can only see the stone carved stone statue, and there is nothing else.

Yonghou Mausoleum is the closest to Yongzhao Mausoleum in Gongyi Baling Mausoleum, and the straight line distance is only about 500 meters. You can walk to Yonghou Mausoleum after visiting Yongzhao Mausoleum. It is only that the tomb is not as protected and repaired as Yongzhao Mausoleum. It can only be found by navigation and constantly asking for directions. The scale of Yonghouling is not large, but it has two biggest characteristics in the eight mausoleums, one is that the whole Song Yingzong burial process and the mausoleum have more detailed literary records, which is unthinkable in ancient times. Second, there are many famous people familiar with the people in their burial tombs, such as Yang Liulang, Zhao Pu, Di Qing and famous general Cao Bin.

Yonghouling is outside the west gate of Yongzhaoling, and the car can go straight along the Xilingzhong Lane. The current situation of Yonghouling is compared to Yongzhaoling, one ground and the next to the sky. Next to Yonghouling is the meteorological observation station, and the statues of gods are scattered in the messy farmland, without the air of emperors.

Song Yingzong's cemetery is in the remote part of Gongyi City, very close to the Yongzhao Mausoleum. I live in the hotel next to the Yongzhao Mausoleum. Yonghou Mausoleum is behind the northwest side of the hotel, but the reception staff of the hotel don't know. The cemetery can walk from the alley facing the west gate of Yongzhaoling (Songling Park), about 600 meters later to a garbage disposal distribution center, and then forward to the meteorological observation station, next to Yonghouling. It is not developed as an attraction, it is a farmland, the stone statue is well preserved, and the history is quite interesting.
