You can visit the area any day of the week, but on weekends, the city government closed the main streets of the new village to allow more space for pedestrians. In addition, street performers and musicians came to Xinchuan, walking the streets of Xincun and giving their audience a good performance. There are great restaurants, cafes, "norebangs" Korean karaoke, and of course shopping centers. Very close to Xincun is one of the most famous universities in Korea. The main campus of Yanshi University is just across the street, you don't need a student ID to go there and use the facilities. The shopping street near Lihua University is not bad, the items are cheap, and there are quite a lot of food and snacks. A good little attraction for tourists, about an hour or two is enough to stroll here.
