Daqiu Botanical Garden is not the right time to go. In autumn, the scenery here is not very beautiful. Many plants and trees are deciduous, very bare, very desolate and few people.

5/5OutstandingThough it’s far away from Daegu’s city center, it is definitely worth visiting! There’s free admission and a lot of gorgeous gardens. You can even go on hiking trails up the mountains behind the arboretum. This is one of the most beautiful places in Daegu.

5/5OutstandingDaegu Arboretum is located at the site of an old sanitary landfill.The restoration of the area passed through many stages from 1996 until the opening in May 2002.It is home to more than thousands of species of plants including giant cacti, flowers, medicinal herbs, and trees in 21 gardens.
