Yunfu was mainly inhabited by the Yao people from the Yuan Dynasty to the early Ming Dynasty, with the Yao population accounting for about 80% of the total population at that time. Later, in the middle of the Ming Dynasty, the 'Luo Pang Battle' occurred, and the Yao population sharply decreased. Afterwards, this place became the home of the Lin family, their descendants developed and lived, and later went to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and abroad, and finally Lan Village became a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese.
