Walking to the edge of the city wall is a good place to see the scenery. The green rural scenery around is very healing. Every corner of the town is full of medieval style. And on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of August every year, a large medieval festival and special market called "Volterra AD 1398" will be held. 🥳Locals dressed in medieval costumes will shuttle through the town.
