[Taketa] The best! A gourmet guesthouse in a remote area ✨It's worth traveling just to stay here✨
A hidden place! Truly Oku Bungo.
A small inn at the foot of Mt. Sobo [Minshuku Seiryu]
I went to a rural inn with a great view where you can hear the babbling of the river and eat wonderful food⭐️
All ingredients are locally produced✨
The owner trained in cooking both in Japan and abroad and serves creative kaiseki.
Exciting dishes according to the season are brought out one by one at the right time❤️
Dinner on this day was 10 dishes starting with cheese chawanmushi topped with oysters from Oiri Island.
All the sashimi, including flounder and golden salmon roe, are local.
There was also plenty of freshly picked vegetables with a rich flavor♪
The fruit Shiraae to cleanse the palate was mixed with a rich cream.
The scorched rice cooked in a pot that was served halfway through was sweet!
The fish dish I went to fishing every day was salt-grilled flounder. Was river fish really this delicious? 🐟
The sauteed Oita brand pork "Kome no Megumi" is so delicious and smooth that you can bite into it with your teeth.
By the time you finish off with a Japanese dessert, your heart and stomach are full and full❤️
The broth is so fragrant and delicious that the miso soup at breakfast is irresistible❤️
8,800 yen for one night and two meals!
The food alone is worth more than that, but it's also very comfortable, and you can use the cypress-scented bath for private use♨️
They're also very thoughtful, turning off the lights in the hallway in stages.
The futons are fluffy.
Coffee and tea are set up in a separate room and you can drink as much as you like☕️
The air conditioner and fan heater are heated, but in winter your feet get cold, so we recommend bringing warm pajamas😊
There is one room on the first floor and one on the second floor.
Two rooms per day.
There is a toilet on the second floor, so there is no stress of running into other guests☝️
There is some blackening from aging and some dirt on the washroom, but you don't need to worry about small details at a guesthouse♪
When traveling to Oita, it's fun to stay in a big hotel, but it's also great to stretch your legs and stay an extra night at a guesthouse in a remote area💓
In the surrounding area, you can enjoy nature with the "Takeda Spring Water," one of the 100 famous waters in Japan, "Kanbara Valley," and the beautiful "Shirasui Dam."

I was able to get there by using the phone number on the rental car navigation system. The road is deep in the mountains and there are some narrow places, but it's not a complicated road, so I think you can get there without any problems by entering the address 💡
The mountain road becomes pitch black when it gets dark, so go while it's still light ☀️
