After leaving the "Human Head Building," turn left at the bottom of the hill to reach Suifenhe Museum, which was once a Soviet school. The museum was built in 1903 and is a typical Russian-style building with a mountain-shaped roof and a history of over 100 years. The museum has a rich collection of exhibits, introducing the great changes in Suifenhe over the past century, as well as some archaeological discoveries from the Liao and Jin dynasties. The museum is cleverly designed, with the first-floor corridor decorated like a green train and the second floor like a high-speed train. The train-like corridor creates a strong atmosphere.

Today I rode to the Guomen Scenic Area. I had been there when I went to the Yalu River in 2016. Now eight years have passed and there have been a lot of changes. The scenic spot started charging admission fees, 50 yuan per person. The newly built gate of the scenic area is a Russian-style European classical building, and it is called "opening the lid of history." The gate of Suifenhe National Gate Scenic Area is based on the Russian railway station building designed by Vkonovalov and built in 1912. The gate of Suifenhe National Gate Scenic Area is made entirely of wood, with a main body height of 8.32 meters, a total height of 10.95 meters and a width of 21.20 meters. After the eastern section of the Middle East Railway was opened to traffic, the Qing government sent Jia Yude to Suifenhe Station to set up a negotiation branch, which was an administrative and judicial office along the Middle East Railway. In October 1903, the Harbin Railway Negotiation Bureau recalled Jia Yude and sent Baolin, a fourth-rank official, to serve as a candidate. In December 1903, the Suifenhe Railway Negotiation Bureau was officially established, and Baolin was appointed as the first chief commissioner. This was the official residence of the chief commissioner. In 1933, it was the dormitory for Japanese employees of the Manchurian Railway. After 1945, it was the dormitory and office of Soviet railway experts. In 1955, it was the single dormitory for railway workers. In March 2013, it became a national key cultural relic protection unit. Unfortunately, when I went there, it was being renovated, so I couldn't go in and visit. Suifenhe is the centennial port at the easternmost end of Heilongjiang Province, the only land trade port in China leading to the Yiben Sea, and is also known as a city brought by trains. There are many century-old European-style buildings here, with a strong exotic atmosphere. I quite like this historical border town. Let's see which places we have checked in. The first day, Suifenhe Guomen Scenic Area. This is the largest land port to Russia in Heilongjiang, where you can visit the only scenic area in China that spans the border, and it is also the only place in China's Guomen Scenic Area that integrates three generations of Guomen. The third-generation Guomen in the scenic area is as high as 51.8 meters, the highest national gate in northern China. It is 81.8 meters long, with a span of 54.1 meters, and has eight lanes in both directions. We have two elevators, and the main building is divided into 9 floors, symbolizing the supreme national dignity of the Chinese nation. Hui Shi replied, 'You are not a fish, how do you know the fish's happiness?' Zhuangzi retorted, 'You are not me, how do you know that I do not know the fish's happiness?' Hui Shi responded, 'I am not you, indeed I do not know whether you know the fish's happiness; but since you are not a fish, you cannot know the fish's happiness, that is certain.' Zhuangzi said, 'Let's trace back to the origin of the conversation. When you said, 'How do you know the fish are happy,' you already knew that I knew the fish are happy and asked me. I know it from the bridge over the Hao River.' This is the famous 'Debate on the Hao Bridge' in history. It also reflects the ancient understanding of man's relationship with nature. Both the Hao Pu Jian Xiang in the Mountain Resort and the Hao Pu Jian in Beihai Park originate from this story. As for the difference of one character between the two places, it is said that Emperor Qianlong intentionally made the change out of reverence for his 'Grandfather Emperor Kangxi.'
