This time, I decided to challenge myself by climbing to Gifu Castle and experiencing the beautiful forest journey. Anticipation at the Start Early in the morning, I took public transportation to Gifu City and then walked to the Kinka Ropeway Station following the signs. Along the way, I felt the tranquility and beauty around me, with lush greenery and fresh air invigorating my spirit. The ropeway ride took about ten minutes, and through the glass windows, I enjoyed the scenic views as the majestic landscape of Mount Kinka gradually unfolded before my eyes. The Challenge of the Hiking Route After reaching the upper ropeway station, I began my hike up the mountain. Although the distance to Gifu Castle was not long, it required some physical effort. The path was lined with dense trees and colorful flowers, prompting me to stop and savor the gifts of nature. Along the way, I encountered other hikers, and we encouraged each other, cheering each other on. It is said to be the oldest wooden reconstructed replica castle tower in Japan. The castle itself is very similar to Ogaki Castle, which is also in Gifu Prefecture, and was modeled after it. Although the interior is made of wood, it has been reconstructed, so the stairs are not as steep as those of the existing castle tower and are easy to climb. The view from the top floor was beautiful, with a panoramic view of Gujo Hachiman city. If you go by car, there are many parking lots near the castle, but be careful as the roads are narrow and there is a lot of walking.

This community center is adjacent to the north side of Gifu City Hall. The library is on the second floor. The interior design is very artistic! All new libraries these days are beautiful, but this one is particularly stunning. The ceiling is a wooden lattice roof with beautiful, intricate curves. You can see Mt. Kinka right in front of you from the balcony. There is also a Starbucks and a convenience store inside.

Although it is called a bicycle, it is an electric bicycle with fixed handlebars, so it is not that difficult to pedal and you can take lots of photos! And above all, the view is amazing!!!
