It is because they are Game of Thrones fans and the show filmed some scenes in this town, and this includes the Girona Cathedral and the steps!! I have never seen Game of Thrones but I equally enjoy visiting the Girona Cathedral because it is a magnificent and beautiful gothic cathedral, it is certainly impressive especially when I walked up the stairs and looked at it closely. Castell de Montjuïc was the first place we visited during our 4-day trip to Barcelona, and we were lucky enough to witness the sunset there. As the sun began to set, the scenery became increasingly breathtaking. We were fortunate to see the clouds forming the shape of a phoenix, which made the moment even more special. While visitors often take the Montjuïc cable car to the top of the hill, we chose to walk up the winding paths through Montjuïc Park, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Castell de Montjuïc (Montjuïc Castle) is a historic fortress in Barcelona, so we spent time wandering around the 17th-century fortress and visiting the courtyard. #bestsunset
