Around 14 minutes walk from the carpark at wetherspoon, you will reach the facility that one can enjoy a lake cruise around Derwent water, row a boat around the water with a fee, you also can buy duck food to feed the duck on the shore. They have a playland for children when they can enjoy remote control boats on the artificial pond, master their golf skill to become future tiger wood, garden for people lying down and etc. Keswick is also a place you can stay and travel around the lake district with public buses. Nearest train station is Penrith which took around 50 minutes travel by bus.
