The Lake District in the UK, as the backyard of the British, has been rated as 'one of the 50 places to go in a lifetime'. This time we went to Lake Windermere, the largest and most representative of the Lake District. It is the hometown of Peter Rabbit and the filming location of 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'. It is recommended to go on a sunny day, take a walk along the long Lake Windermere, the scenery along the way is pleasant, and you can also feed the swans and pigeons by the lake. 🏨Hotel environment: Storrs Hall Hotel, a hotel transformed by the Duke of Storrs Hall from his own estate, has a beautiful lake view and is highly recommended. 🍽Dining recommendation: The two most praised restaurants in the Lake District, Porto and Hylton, are actually front and back doors. We later chose Porto, their salad is very delicious, the lamb chops are very tender, the mushroom risotto is a bit salty, but the overall taste is not bad. The key is that the chocolate they give is very delicious. 🌟Highlights: Harry Potter's same steam train didn't have time to ride this time, but many people recommend going for a ride. 👎Least recommended: If you are short on time, just skip the boat trip, the lake view is almost the same.

Had the most incredible boat trip on Lake Windermere this summer! The shimmering waters, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, made for a picture-perfect adventure. As we glided along the lake, the warm sun kissed our skin, and a gentle breeze filled the air. The scenic views of lush hills and charming villages were simply mesmerizing. The peacefulness of the lake and the laughter of friends created unforgettable memories. We even stopped at a quaint lakeside cafe to savor some local delicacies. Lake District National Park in the UK

Upon arriving at the Lake District National Park in the UK, you will enter a tranquil and pleasant paradise. Lakes and rivers surround this area, presenting magnificent scenery. The breeze sweeps over the grassy snow-capped peaks, bringing coolness and tranquility. Under the sunset, the orange sunset is sprinkled on the distant mountains, creating a mysterious and pleasant atmosphere. Coming to the Lake District National Park, you will feel the tranquil beauty of nature.

Aira force and Gowbarrow park are around 155km away from Manchester United, you can take the train to the penrith station then there is a bus from the station to the destination. It is near Ullswater with a parking facility and etc. Aira force is an 18th century design landscape once owned by the dukes of norfolk, now owned by the National trust. The main force falls 70 feet from below a stone. You can borrow the boots so you can walk along the water. I took the 45 minutes trail because time is limited, i follow a 3 days 2 night tour from rabbies. If you took Gowbarrow fell trail that is around 3 hour walk at beautiful landscape with fencing to prevent the animal coming out, you will be award a beautiful view.

Driving through the lake district in our van was so memorable, but what we loved most was stopping at lakes like this to shoot the autumn colours!

WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER-England It is the home of Peter the Rabbit.This is a family attraction located in the center of Bowness-on-Windermere in the English Lake District. We explored the enchanting world that Beatrix Potter created in her little books as all of the famous tales are brought to life, recreating the beautiful Lake District countryside complete with sights, sounds and smells. If you can be lucky you can meet characters including Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy-winkle and Jemima Puddle-With free activity sheets for kids, a superb themed family friendly café and a world famous gift shop, everyone can enjoy a bit of Beatrix Potter magic, whatever the weather!I recommend this family friendly environment.VERY INTERESTING

The Northern Line of the train from Manchester to Windermere went on strike for a week, so chartered to the Lake District. The last destination was to the world of Windermere Peter Rabbit. The home location of rabbit is in the center of Bowness, Windermere town, and it takes an estimated 20 minutes to walk from the train station. Open daily from 10:00 to 4:30 pm, Rabbit World is divided into three parts: museum, gift house and tea room. Tickets for the museum are 7.95. I have to go to the rabbit gift shop to see if I have to travel by boat to the lake. Peter's doll price is expensive, the most lovely is the biggest 135 pounds, equivalent to 1200 yuan, really like it is also powerless, or appreciate it.

Strolled through the enchanting streets of Bowness-on-Windermere, where the village gracefully embraced the shores of the eponymous lake. "Sunset Serenade" unfolded as I wandered along the bustling promenade, the glow of the setting sun casting a warm embrace over the waters. Charming boutiques and teashops lined the streets, their inviting facades adding to the village's allure. As boats gently rocked in the harbor, the distant fells stood as guardians of this idyllic scene. Bowness-on-Windermere is a town in South Lakeland, Cumbria, England. Once can take train to Oxenholme then follow by lake district line to Windermere, but i don suggest in this way, is better to have a own transport so you can travel around. I travel here from a 3 days 2 nights tour from rabbies. Arrived here around 5pm, check in hotel, have a coffee, then roam around the area. Good old town feel atmosphere, with old building around, i think it is a smallest cinema i had seen. Vinegar Jones should be the best fish and chips in this area. You can rent a row boat or drive a boat for a fees. I reach late so i take the evening curise at the lake start at 2015hrs for 75 minutes.. £14.30. In the morning, you can takethe yellow, blue or red line cruise around the lake.

Keswick, Lake District

A quaint little town near the Lake District, Keswick is full of charm and life during the summer season. Located in the lovely Lake district, this quaint little shop sells nostalgic Peter Rabbit merchandise and also has a little cafe at the back of the shop. You will find English tea time snacks like scones and muffins here. The items range from children’s toys to home wares for those who remember Peter Rabbit from their childhood bedtime stories. Keswick is a market town surrounded by mountains at northwest england lake district national park. Around 14 minutes walk from the carpark at wetherspoon, you will reach the facility that one can enjoy a lake cruise around Derwent water, row a boat around the water with a fee, you also can buy duck food to feed the duck on the shore. They have a playland for children when they can enjoy remote control boats on the artificial pond, master their golf skill to become future tiger wood, garden for people lying down and etc. Keswick is also a place you can stay and travel around the lake district with public buses. Nearest train station is Penrith which took around 50 minutes travel by bus.
