The worship method here is unique, with two bows, four claps, and one bow. The large rope at the Kagura-den hall is impressive and beautiful! Going there early in the morning when there are fewer people, and being able to worship slowly while basking in the morning sun was a very mystical experience. After passing through the approach, there is a copper torii gate.     The land of Japanese gods came out of the cloud big brother as early as last year, I planted a cloud, because my friend said that this is the home of ghosts in Japan! If the weather is good, the beach here is a good place to watch the sunset, but unfortunately when we arrived, the weather was not good, we could only go to the beach to go!   • Hoshino Resorts KAI Izumo

    Many years ago, I stayed at KAI Nikko and had a great time. This time, I planned a trip to Shimane Prefecture and decided to stay at KAI Izumo. I booked the early bird rate 90 days in advance, and the price was about RMB 2,200 for one night with two meals, which is quite reasonable for a hot spring hotel in Japan. 🚕 The hotel is not very convenient for non-self-driving travelers. There are only four buses a day from Izumo Taisha to Hinomisaki Lighthouse, and the intervals are long. The four of us chose to take a taxi, which was more flexible in terms of time. The road to the hotel winds around the mountain and faces the sea, and the scenery is beautiful. 🏨 The hotel is relatively new and does not have the dilapidated feel of an old hot spring hotel. The room is a combination of Japanese and Western styles, and the bathroom is also large. I want to complain that the view of the lighthouse from my room was completely blocked by a pine tree, and I could only see the tip of the tower. I don't know what the view is like from other rooms. 🍱 The dinner was average, but the presentation and tableware were nice, and the portions were generous. I was worried that there would be nothing to eat at night in this remote place, but I was full after the meal. ♨️ The hot spring was great, and the saline spring water was interesting. The open-air bath had several single-person pools with a slope at the bottom, so you could lie down and soak in the hot spring while looking at the stars above you. It was a great experience. 🎭 I also watched the Iwami Kagura performance in the evening. It was mainly for entertainment, and for non-native speakers, this kind of traditional art performance is indeed difficult to appreciate. However, it was a good way to pass the time in the evening. 🌊 You can also visit the Hinomisaki Coast and Lighthouse near the hotel. The waves on the San'in Coast are big, and the sea is deep and has a unique flavor.

    #2024mapped GARB CLIFF TERRACE IZUMO We were taken to this restaurant because it was recommended by a local. It was Sunday lunch time and the restaurant was quite crowded. I went to the terrace with a great view. It has an open atmosphere as if we were in a foreign country. I ordered fried shrimp and croquette lunch, dessert and Izumo tea. The fried shrimp and croquette were thinly battered and fried crispy, which I liked very much! The cherry pie for dessert was a delicious combination of crispy dough and custard. They also have a different rice dish each day, and when I ate it, it was rice topped with sea bream sashimi! It was very tasty, so I'd like to try a different dish again!!     Izumo Taisha is a shrine dedicated to the deity Okuninushi-no-Okami, known as the god of matchmaking and fortune. The shimenawa (sacred straw rope) at the Kaguraden is incredibly thick and impressive up close! The grounds are very spacious, so be prepared for a lot of walking if you want to see everything! There are many souvenir shops and restaurants around the area, making it feel like a small town!   • Floating torii gate in shizuoka.

    This place is shown in the anime “Yuru camp” on season 2 eps 3 when the caracters watch the sunset. On the autumn and winter, the sunset will fall in the middle of torii gate so people says its the face of Lake Hamana. Unfortunately i went here on early summer so i cant capture the moment, But its still beautiful. Before the sun fall, i went to strolling around the town and ate Unagi it was so fresh and delicious. Also there are many boat to take the fish on the sea. #japantrip #shizuoka

The Hokkaido National Museum displays many artifacts and materials related to Izumo Taisha, allowing for a deeper understanding of the history and stories behind this shrine. The exhibits include ancient ceremonial tools, historical documents of the shrine, and exquisite traditional crafts. Each exhibit tells a unique piece of history, giving me a more comprehensive understanding of Izumo Taisha. Throughout the visit, I was deeply attracted to the displayed artifacts and materials, which not only showed the religious significance of Izumo Taisha but also the rich cultural heritage of the area. I particularly loved the intricate crafts, which showcased the superb skill and aesthetics of Japanese traditional craftsmanship. The architecture of the Hokkaido National Museum itself is also a sight to behold, with the traditional Japanese architectural style complementing the surrounding natural landscape, creating a serene and solemn atmosphere. I took many photos inside and outside the museum, hoping to share these beautiful moments with everyone. This visit to the Hokkaido National Museum not only allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Izumo Taisha but also made me appreciate the charm of Japanese traditional crafts and the importance of cultural heritage. I will forever treasure these wonderful memories and look forward to returning here in the future to explore more of the beauty of history and culture.
