* Murano is a series of islands lined by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon, in northern Italy. It is called the Glass Island, as it is famous for its glass-blowing classes and creative glass-art-work.

Day 2-4
* Venice is a historic city in Italy, built on over 100 small islands in a lagoon, famous for its canals, gondolas, and iconic landmarks like St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it offers a unique travel experience with its car-free streets, Renaissance architecture, and distinct Venetian cuisine.

Day 5

The city boasts a rich blend of ancient Roman ruins, medieval architecture, and vibrant piazzas, offering a unique cultural experience w/world-class opera, excellent food, and beautiful scenery.

Day 6
* Peschiera del Garda is a historic town on the southern shore of Lake Garda, Italy, known for its UNESCO-listed Venetian fortress, canals, and strategic location at the Mincio River's outlet. It's a popular tourist destination offering a blend of history, beautiful scenery & proximity to theme parks like Gardaland.

* Sirmione is a charming Italian town located on a peninsula in Lake Garda, known for its 1300’s historic Scaliger Castle, the Roman villa ruins of Grotte di Catullo, and its thermal baths. The town offers a picturesque setting with narrow alleys, beautiful lake views, and a rich history spanning from prehistoric times to the Roman and medieval eras.
Day 7: Back to Venice via train which took a 3.45hr ride.

📌 Tips:
1. La Nuova Perla was Gustavo pizza was so so so delicious that I had to go back for the delicious plate of Carbonara I seen. It’s was a great choice to enjoy on my 2nd visit. This place is a must try!!!!
2. Veneto/Venetian lagoon areas primary means of transport are water-taxis, next train, next bus and outside of the lagoon people have bikes & lastly cars.
3. Book your transportation ahead of time; the earlier the sooner is cheaper
4. Taxis; no Uber nor Lyft ride shares are in Verona
5. 16-22Aug dates were extremely hot so the less clothes the better. 21-22Aug the rain storm caused it to cool down tremendously so, this was appreciated ##solotrip
