breathe siam🦐🥘🍲
Simple Thai Meal: Chef Johnny (Wongsrithat yongyut) has opened a new branch of authentic Yishan Thai Café Siam in Quarry Bay 🎉 Be sure to try the fragrant "Coconut Baked Rice" 🎉 Rich and delicious tom yum 🦐
Located in northeast Thailand, the Isan region is close to Laos, and its food tradition is deeply influenced by its natural environment Johnny grew up in Yi Shan area, learned the cooking skills of authentic Thai Yi Shan cuisine from his grandmother, can cook a hand of authentic Yi Shan dishes, this is a very common situation, many Thai restaurant masters or Thai cuisine KOL in Hong Kong such as Leung Joe, actually learn to make Thai cuisine with family 😍🥳, Chef Johnny loves to use a traditional Thai seasoning pla ra, Made from boiled fish fermented with roasted rice flour and salt, then further fermented in an enclosed container for at least six months, it is a way of preserving fish meat in hot weather by the Yishan indigenous people in the past and is the key to filling Café Siam dishes with freshness today.
Café Siam Siam has been in Hong Kong since 1999. It has been located in De Keyser Street in Central in its early years, and later moved to Kennedy Town in Western District The front green landing doorway, excellent lighting, the whole store solid wood design makes people feel like in Thailand local cabin, full of tropical style, although it is open, not ready to fly friends, can definitely go to the restaurant to relieve Thai homesickness Café Siam has been recognized by the "Thai Select" organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and has been recommended Thai cuisine in the Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau!
