Guangxi's Most Beautiful Skyline

Since we took the high-speed train from Chongzuo back to Nanning early in the morning, it was already 4 PM when we arrived in Nanning, leaving us with limited time to stay in Qingxiu Mountain Park. We decided to take the sightseeing bus and only photograph the upper part of the park. Our route started with getting off at Tianchi, where we took some photos of the lake and the surrounding scenery. Tianchi is a large artificial lake halfway up Qingxiu Mountain. The water glistens, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, earning it the nickname 'Tower Reflection Tianchi.' Next, we walked to the symbol of Qingxiu Mountain - Longxiang Tower. The tower stands 52.35 meters high and 12 meters wide, with an internal spiral staircase of 207 steps leading to the top. It is the tallest tower in Guangxi. From the top, you can overlook the scenery of Yongjiang River and the new city of Langdong in Nanning. If you get hungry, you can visit nearby snack shops for a grilled sausage or corn, all freshly made and delicious. After visiting Longxiang Tower, we walked to Huanshan Xiuping, a large grassland where we could lie down and rest. This grassland covers nearly 100 acres, and lying on this green carpet-like field, you can feel a sense of relaxation and comfort, making it an excellent place to rest. Finally, we arrived at Guanyin Zen Temple. We didn't visit the temple itself but stayed here to photograph the sunset, evening glow, and night view. From 6 PM, we had our equipment set up, capturing the fiery sunset first, followed by the evening glow connecting the sky and earth, and finally, the starry night view, making for a spectacular conclusion. 403 meters, the tallest Shangri-La in the world

The tallest in the world refers to the highest number of floors (the highest altitude Shangri-La is in Lhasa). The hotel has 88 floors with a building height of 403 meters, which also exceeds The Shard's 310 meters and the China World Trade Center Tower's 330 meters. It has been a long time since I have seen a newly opened Shangri-La return to such a grand and magnificent design, from the first floor to the 68th floor's sky lobby, it's really majestic. On the 71st floor, there is a 317-meter high outdoor swimming pool, which is said to be the highest outdoor swimming pool in China. Although there isn't much of a view in Nanning, on a clear day, the clouds seem within reach. The ground floor has direct access to the MixC Mall and the subway station, making transportation very convenient. The room I booked is one level above the basic room, the selected type, which is slightly larger than the basic room and includes an extra bathtub. The room's decoration is very tasteful, and the mattress is so comfortable.

A Day of a Special Forces Soldier in Nanning

Attended a colleague's wedding, with tight schedule and heavy tasks, managed to visit several popular attractions in one day 1. Breakfast: Shu Ji Laoyou Rice Noodles (Guiya Branch), the closest Shu Ji to the north gate of Qingxiu Mountain. After eating, walked to the north gate. Originally planned to play for two hours, but there were too many fun attractions in the scenic area, ended up playing for four hours; 2. After exiting the north gate, took a taxi to the ASEAN Sheng Tian Di famous staircase, near Starbucks there is an elevator going down, ordered online from Grandma's Handmade (Wanxiang City Branch), walked to Ganjiajie Lemon Duck (Chunhui Branch), quite delicious and cost-effective, went to pick up tea after eating; 3. Not in Japan, in Nanning!!!

Guangxi is really a great place hehe. I checked into this homestay and it feels pretty good. It's a great place to slack off, with beautiful scenery and the facilities are also among the best I've experienced in so many homestays. Since it's quite remote, there's a restaurant inside the homestay, and the food is quite tasty, just a bit pricey. Nearby, you can drive for half an hour to Wu Ming town for some delicious barbecue that's also cheap!! I went to the homestay during the May Day holiday, and there were lots of activities during the holiday period like catching crayfish, experiencing indigo dyeing, etc. The breakfast was rich and delicious. When checking out, they even gave me a bag of rice. The experience was 100 points, super cost-effective, highly recommended recommended

Accompanied my family to Nanning for a visit, considering factors such as region, transportation, and attractions, we finally settled on Wanda Wenhua Hotel. We liked the hotel at first sight, the lobby is very grand, everywhere is decorated with Zhuang ethnic style, which makes me want to take them home. We stayed in a deluxe room, the room sound insulation is very good, the bedding is very comfortable, this needs to be praised. The room is on the 19th floor, looking at the city night view before going to bed, it also has a unique flavor. Breakfast is buffet style, very rich, we also chose the buffet dinner on the first floor in the evening, the price is not high, there are seafood barbecue hot pot, this is beyond my expectation. In summary, the experience is very good, will consider next time.

Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi province, and is located in Southwest China. The province borders Vietnam, this city is close to Guangzhou, close to Hong Kong and Macau, and faces Southeast Asia. It is also near to Guilin city and Guizhou province. Although it's not the most famous of cities, it is definitely worth spending a few days. You can travel to the tall building called Di Wang Yun Ding and get the lift to the 59th floor glass walk way. The exhibitions are very well organized and easy to understand with both Chinese and English. The displays are just enough for the audience to know about the Zhuang nation. The building is very well designed to reflect the story it is telling. Visitors need to spend some time outdoor waling in the display garden where 10 most representative traditional ethnic buildings are being exhibited. Half-a-day should be enough for all people unless you are a serious museum visitors.

Minzu avenue is located in the center of Nanning city. Very nice place to go to have some street foods and enjoy the night atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

Getting There - 25min drive from Nanning city center (in Chinese 嘉和城温泉谷) Attractions - relaxing hot springs Hotels - Jiahe Hot Springs Valley Resort We have spent 6 hours in this wonderful place, jumping from one hot tub to another! The hot springs are located in the forest-like area, and it 's relaxing to walk around the resort. We saw some villas inside the resort and a big swimming pool, but I guess it's worth staying there during summer time, because in winter it's just too cold and there is not much you can do around that area. In January we saw some construction works in different parts of the resort, I believe in a few months time the hot springs will look even better. The entrance ticket was only 50rmb, but I guess it will be more expensive once they finish their construction works.
