5-Day Nanny-Level Guide to Guangxi

Just got back from Guangxi, and while organizing my photo album, I kept thinking: this trip was totally worth it! From the greenery of Nanning to the romance by the sea, there were new surprises every day. Here’s the itinerary to share with you all～ D1️⃣ First Impressions of Nanning: Day 1 Surrounded by Greenery 🌿 ✈️ Arrival moment: The breeze in Nanning is so gentle! With a faint scent of grass and trees, it doesn’t feel hot at all, instantly wiping away travel fatigue～ 📍 First stop: rush to Qingxiu Mountain! Truly the “Green City’s green lung,” the moment you enter, you’re healed by the endless greenery! 👉🏻 Must-check-in at Longxiang Tower: Climb up to see the entire city of Nanning. At dusk, the sunset shines on the lake, and egrets fly by—so beautiful it leaves you speechless! 💡 Tip: Wear light-colored clothes for better photos, and remember to bring mosquito repellent～ D2️⃣ Transnational Waterfall + Rice Field Café: Half Magnificent, Half Romantic 🌊 Set off at dawn to the China-Vietnam border and the moment I saw Detian Transnational Waterfall, I was wowed! 💦 The water flow is magnificent: half in China, half in Vietnam. Standing on the viewing platform, you can feel the mist on your face, and if you’re lucky, you might see a rainbow! 🚤 Bamboo raft ride is even better: getting close to the waterfall is super thrilling, and the splashing water is so refreshing～ In the afternoon, recharge at the Rice Field Café! Sitting in the middle of the rice paddies drinking coffee, with the wind rustling the rice ears and mountains in the distance, time seems to slow down～ 📸 Photo tip: Hold your coffee cup framed with the rice fields for a perfect shot! D3️⃣ Stay at Zaiye Suji + White-Headed Leaf Monkeys: Living in the Scenery 🐒 Zaiye Suji really knows how to pick a spot! The guesthouse is hidden among mountains and water, and opening the window reveals endless greenery. Waking up to bird calls in the morning fills you with happiness～ In the afternoon, go see the White-Headed Leaf Monkeys! These adorable endangered animals jump around in the trees and instantly melt your heart～ 💡 Tip: Go early to see the White-Headed Leaf Monkeys and remember to keep quiet～ D4️⃣ Fangchenggang Tide Hunting + Sanniang Bay Dolphin Watching: Joy by the Sea 🌊 Morning tide hunting in Fangchenggang was so much fun! Bring a small shovel and bucket to catch little crabs—both kids and adults had a blast～ In the afternoon, go “out to sea to find dolphins” at Sanniang Bay! We were super lucky to see Chinese white dolphins jumping by the boat—so healing! 👉🏻 Pro tip: Wear non-slip shoes and remember to apply sunscreen when going out to sea～ D5️⃣ Qinzhou Nixing Pottery + Nanning Airport Drop-off: Taking Memories Home 🏺 On the last day, experience Nixing Pottery in Qinzhou! Making a small cup with your own hands feels so rewarding, and you can take it home as a souvenir～ In the afternoon, return to Nanning for the airport drop-off. Although reluctant to leave, the memories from this trip are so beautiful! 💡 Summary: Guangxi is truly perfect for travel!
