With its narrow alleys, whitewashed homes, and centuries-old monasteries, it felt like walking through a living museum. The people of Mustang, influenced heavily by Tibetan culture, welcomed us warmly with their gentle smiles and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. It’s literally heaven on earth and it’s a place you must visit when you’re in Nepal. The landscapes and the mountains look majestic in real and you can’t help but be in awe that such places do exist. Hiking takes around 6-7 hours a day, and it’s particularly windy on some routes. Especially the famous Mustang Bridge. This is the best way to celebrate your holiday in nepal.

1️⃣ National Flower Status: The national flower of Nepal is the Rhododendron (scientific name: Rhododendron arboreum), locally known as 'Lali Gurans', symbolizing courage and good fortune. 2️⃣ Altitude King: Grows in high-altitude areas of 1500-4000 meters, resistant to cold and wind, making it the toughest 'flower warrior' at the foot of the snowy mountains. 3️⃣ Impressive Scale: Over 30 species of rhododendrons are distributed in Nepal, with the Annapurna Conservation Area being a prime spot for rhododendron viewing! 🌸 Why are Nepal's rhododendrons so amazing? #2024wish Nestled in the captivating landscapes of lower Mustang, Jomsom in western Nepal greeted me with a breathtaking panorama. The majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges stood tall, painting an awe-inspiring backdrop. As I explored the charming village, the authentic culture of the Thakali people added a rich layer to the experience. The bustling market, adorned with vibrant prayer flags, offered glimpses into the local way of life. Trekking through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the world's deepest, revealed nature's grandeur. The sacred Muktinath Temple and the ancient Kagbeni village were among the cultural treasures I encountered. Jomsom's serene beauty and the Himalayan giants etched an unforgettable chapter in my travel diary.

Jomsom is in Mustang area. it is high up in the Himalayan mt. The air is fresh and far away from pollution in a big city. If u have a chance to visit Kathmandu, you can take a bus to Jomsom. it might take you 6 hours. I can guarantee that you will see the beautiful mountain view. People here are also very nice. It will definitely worth your time and effort.

Muktinath is the third village in Mustang area, and is located at the foot of the Thorong La Pass (5416 meters above sea level) on the Annapurna Circuit. There is a temple where Buddhism and Hinduism coexist, with 108 taps. The water source is closely related to the holy Lake Manasarovar in Ali, Tibet, and flows down the mountain to form the Qumi River. In addition, not far below the mountain there is another royal fortress: Raogezi, which was built in the 16th century. Historically, another royal lineage of Mustang once lived in this fortress. Kagbeni is the second village entering Mustang. It is also the intersection of the Annapurna Circuit (ACT). The altitude is 2,800 meters. The fields are full of barley and corn. Next to it are the tall Annapurna Mountains. From Jomsom to Kagbeni, you can take a bus or walk, which takes 5 hours. This is also an apple-producing area. Nepal's famous Mustang apples are grown in Kagbeni. There is an ancient temple, Kag Chode, and the old city walls are still preserved today.
