Napa Crosswinds
As the lockdown restrictions ease because of the vaccine rollouts, people are going out again to safely dine-in restaurants and cafés outside their homes. One of the popular places to go to for that well-deserved break and a change of scenery is none other than Tagaytay City. It is one of the most accessible destinations for Manileños and Southies (those who reside in the South) to visit for a quick road or food trip and lengthy stay-cations. Either there’s a new place to discover and a new restaurant to try for good food plus the amazing ambiance or a favorite spot which deserves another visit. Check out NAPA at Crosswinds, a must-visit cafe in Tagaytay.
The Tagaytay of today has changed a lot. What was once a sleepy city is now turned into a bustling, crowd-filled area, who is always driving by and hopping from one restaurant, hotel, and/or condominium to another. Unbeknownst to many, there is now a side of the city that has been developed into a commercial district with all the hotels, condominiums, and parks that have sprouted through the years. Be strategic about planning your plans with your family or friends because you do not want to get yourselves caught in weekend or peak season traffic.
This tourist destination, which is also regarded as the second coldest area in the Philippines, is home for its crisp, mountain air; provision of a gastronomic adventure of eating home-cooked Bulalo; the fresh flowers of kaleidoscope colors that are sprawled out everywhere; columns of majestic, bitter green pine trees (thanks to more than 30,000 pine trees planted and grown here); and that picture-perfect view of Taal Volcano. If you haven’t been here, the serene view of the caldera really captivates breaths especially during the day, with some clouds resting above its crown; and the cold, brushing air and array of twinkling lights as soon as nighttime falls.

Delicious Milk Tea 🇵🇭
#timetotravel
D' Cream Coffee and Tea Cafe is a chain store where you can enjoy yourself with a cup of milk tea, cofee and some desserts. I have a favourite milk tea shop that I always frequent to but since D'cream has opened a branch near my house , I decided to try their milk tea since their brand is gaining popularity amongst the milk tea lovers. True enough that it tastes superb. Love it and I will order more!

Wonderful Arabic Food❤️
We had some tasty Arabic Grilled meats here at the Altarboosh Arabic Restaurant in Makati just 5 minutes away from our hotel, City Garden Grand Hotel.
My favorite was definitely their Shish Taouk, the chicken skewers, it was deliciously seasoned and tender, their other meats, the beef was pretty good too! They cook their meats on the spot nice hot and grilled! The swrvice ie amazing, plenty of choices on their menu too. And their drinks were great too, enjoyed my Mai Tai💕
Great vibes, they have an extensive menu, Shisha and even a pool table👍#foodie #本地遊 #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #tripblazers #境外遊 #awesomepic #cafe

"Coffee date vibes."
What I love about coffee dates with my bestie is that we talk about everything and nothing. We make a date to get out, enjoy each other’s company, and discover something new about each other. It’s always fun to learn how one of us has changed over the past year!#cafe #mytripvlog #themepark

La Cathedral Cafe
Ambiance is great, perfect place to hang out with your friends and/or love ones. I should say the place is amazing, especially during sunset. This would be a nice location for events. Imagine we are eating our dinner under the stars. Their staff are very accommodating and provides quality customer service. In fact, one staff volunteered to take our pictures.
Thanks for the wonderful experience, La Cathedral!
Tips: If you plan to go here on holiday, you’d better book a reservation on their Facebook page. Also, check the weather when you're planning to go here because there are few spots where you cant dine when it's raining.

Fort Santiago, Intramuros Manila
Fort Santiago (Spanish: Fuerte de Santiago; Filipino: Kutà ng Santiago), built in 1593, is a citadel built by Spanish navigator and governor Miguel López de Legazpi for the new established city of Manila in the Philippines. The defense fortress is located in Intramuros, the walled city of Manila.
The fort is one of the most important historical sites in Manila. Several lives were lost in its prisons during the Spanish Empire and World War II. José Rizal, one of the Philippine national heroes, was imprisoned here before his execution in 1896. The Rizal Shrine museum displays memorabilia of the hero in their collection and the fort features, embedded onto the ground in bronze, his footsteps representing his final walk from his cell to the location of the actual execution.
It is only a few meters away from the Manila Cathedral and the Palacio del Gobernador (lit. Governor's Palace, currently the office of the Commission on Elections).
The location of Fort Santiago was once the site of a palisaded fort, armed with bronze guns, of Rajah Matanda, a Muslim Tagalog rajah of pre-Hispanic Manila who himself was a vassal to the Sultan of Brunei. The fort was destroyed by maestre de campo (master-of-camp) Martin de Goiti who, upon arriving in 1570 from Cebu, fought several battles with the Muslim natives. The Spaniards started building Fort Santiago (Fuerte de Santiago) after the establishment of the city of Manila under Spanish rule on June 24, 1571, and made Manila the capital of the newly colonized islands.
The first fort was a structure of palm logs and earth. Most of it was destroyed when the city was invaded by Chinese pirates led by Limahong. Martin de Goiti was killed during the siege. After a fierce conflict, the Spaniards under the leadership of Juan de Salcedo, eventually drove the pirates out to Pangasinan province to the north, and eventually out of the country.
