Going Chinese in the Philippines!

Recommended Sightseeing time: 1-2 hour Address: 864 Masangkay St, Binondo, Manila, 1006 Metro Manila, Philippines Phone: (+63)2-2522888 Travel Time: Almost 2.5 hours from Bulacan China town is one of the best locations in Philippines! Founded in 1594, it holds the distinction of being the oldest Chinatown in the world. It has since become a melting pot with many stories to tell, and a lot of things to do in Binondo involve exploring its rich heritage. Start at Binondo Church and follow the savory scents of oranges and sweetmeats, lychees, and mooncakes. The area bordered by Ongpin, Quentin Paredes and Gandara Streets offers the heart of Chinatown, where you can browse to your heart's content and pick up noodles, yellow Chinese gold, and mysterious remedies for illnesses you may not have known you had. Overall, I am very excited about the time I visited Chinatown and really had a great time shopping and eating! #falltrip #mytravelhacks #freehotelstay #historicallandmarks #localguides #familytrip
