If you’ve been longing for steaks in Cebu, come to bai hotel’s Marble + Grain Steak House. From their delicious appetisers to their savouring desserts, everything is absolutely remarkable. My family and I had our dinner here eating their recommended steaks, each of us savoured every bite we had. Along with the amazing food the service is as bit as remarkable, the friendly atmosphere could make you feel at home. We would like to mention Ivy, Kristine, Thara and Franco for their kind hospitality and great service to us.

San Agustin Museum
The San Agustin Museum is attached to the magnificent and historical San Agustin church. You should visit both the church and the museum on the same visit. The museum is spread over the entire massive grounds over two floors. Many of the pieces tell the story of the evolution Christianity in the Philippines. You could easily spend at least a couple of hours in just the museum itself. I spent a few hours on the entire property including the church. There are two beautiful gardens on the property. Be sure and look for the turtles in the inner garden fountain. Don’t get too close to the fountain because they’ll swim underwater. They appear to be shy and very aware of people.

National Museum of Natural history
It is wonderful that a museum like this exists in the Philippines. With both interactive and informational displays and exhibits, there is no shortage of things to see and do here. I suggest spending at the very least an hour here, definitely more.
I even suggest coupling it with visits to the National Museum of Fine Arts and National Museum of Anthropology which are just a few minutes away on foot. A good all-day trip with food close by.

FILIPINO FOOD sa RESTAU NI KUYA
📍KUYA J @ Festival Supermall Alabang
Kuya J, previously "Ang Kan-anan ni Kuya J," is a Cebu-based casual dining establishment known for its popular home-cooked Filipino meals. Crispy pata, kare-kare, and halo-halo are some of their best-selling items.
The relaxed and laid-back atmosphere of Kuya J Restaurant is ideal for enjoying home-cooked Filipino cuisine.
In terms of branding, the restaurant does an excellent job of projecting a friendly and welcoming image, analogous to a big brother (KUYA) who is eager to look after his younger siblings.
For starters, we ordered cheesy grilled scallops, lumpiang shanghai, a plate of chop suey as a side dish, then roast chicken and pansit as main courses. We shared two glasses of ube halo-halo espesyal for dessert.
After a significant period of preparation time, the food was served. The aromas of the food, particularly the grilled scallops, filled the room.
We started with the grilled scallops, which were delicious. The scallops were big and juicy, and the cheese and butter added to the sweetness. The hint of smokiness added another layer of flavor to this dish because it was grilled.
Meanwhile, the sisig was still as excellent as I remembered it. The chicken, lumpiang shanghai, chopsuey were all tasty and sumptuous. The ube halo-halo for dessert was delicious and a great take on the conventional halo-halo.

Coconut Palace
We were privileged to visit the palace as were were given a private tour by one of the guard officer of the vice president. The regular tours were already stopped at that time as they were preparing for the handover after the election. The palace sits on an expansive lot overlooking the Manila Bay. Our tour guide explained every room and the significance of the furniture and decor. It was very informative. A large percentage of the palace and its furniture are made coconut wood. The overall look was splendid. When we visited the rooms, they looked grand and there were interesting stories behind them. I heard that it will not be used for the new vice president as she opted to live somewhere else. So the place will be again open for private events or renting it for weddings. Looking at the palace, I was in awe at how luxurious the Marcoses residential tastes was.
