The tea mountains and villages nearby are great for taking photos. The starry sky at night was beautiful. You can eat at the homestay or drive half an hour to the county. The homestay's prices were reasonable. We had a barbecue on the rooftop, which was delicious. The breakfast was Mabian-style wontons, which were better than regular wontons. This place can certainly be considered off the beaten path. Just navigate to "Dazhubao Township", and once you arrive, ask the locals how to get up there. The turn-off is on the right-hand side, and it's a bit small, so it's easy to miss. (There's a registration spot at the entrance where they'll check.
