Here, you can find spectacular snow-capped mountains and glaciers, unique geological landscapes, rich vegetation, and diverse wildlife. When you step into this magical land, it feels like you've entered a winter fairy tale. In winter, Jiaozi Snow Mountain is covered in snow. The continuous peaks shine under the sun, like a silver dragon winding and hovering. Walking in the snow, the snowflakes fall gently, like a fairy scattering flowers, light and dreamy. Walking along the mountain path, you will encounter unique geological landscapes. The rugged rocks are like immortals pointing the way, or like beasts lurking, as if telling the vicissitudes of time. The clear sky pool is like a huge mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, and surrounding snow-capped mountains, which is very beautiful. Tour Route 1. Day 1: Visitor Center - Xiapingzi Cableway Station - Dahei Qiao - Moon Rock - Jingguitang - Shentian. Stay overnight in a hotel or guesthouse in the scenic area. 2. Kunming Outskirts - Escape the City, Retreat, and Relax If you've been in the city for a while and want to escape to the mountains, step on the soil, breathe fresh air, and avoid the hustle and bustle of the world, you can come to Yongcui Bieyuan to hide in peace. There is only a Taoist temple and a Bieyuan on the top of the mountain, so it is very safe even in the mountains. If you avoid the crowd, you can enjoy every minute of tranquility. [Self-driving is required, and cars are also available] There are standard rooms (public bathrooms), bubble houses, and cliff houses in the Bieyuan, with different prices. We live in a cliff house (the total price for two days is less than a thousand), the decoration is stylish, and you can enjoy the beauty of the mountains and clouds in the house. There are no other shops or restaurants on the mountain. Three meals a day are arranged by the Bieyuan. There are simple wines, coffee and drinks in the hall. If you like snacks, you can bring your own. There are shops and restaurants in the village on the way up the mountain. You can directly go up the mountain along the path from the Bieyuan, one leads to the Miao Village (not finished), and one leads to the top of the mountain (there is almost no clear road, you need to find it yourself in the direction of the "Tai Chi Diagram"). Whether you have a destination or just stroll around, you must return to the Bieyuan before the sun goes down. There are no lights on the mountain at night. If you want to go, you must make a reservation in advance! The Bieyuan does not accept walk-in guests. The first time we went there by ourselves, we didn't stay. If you want to hide in peace, retreat, escape the world, relax, and have a little budget, then this is highly recommended!

Mazong Ridge: Located between Dongchuan District and Luquan County, it is the second highest peak in central Yunnan with an altitude of 4247 meters. It belongs to the Gongwang Mountain system, a branch of the Wumeng Mountains, situated in a deep fault zone. It is named for its continuous ridges resembling a horse's neck. Food: Accommodation in Tanfang Village includes breakfast. Bring your own lunch for the hike. For dinner, there are many small restaurants to choose from in Hongtudi Town on the way back. Route Guide (Important): When downloading the route, make sure to check if the endpoint is the summit route. We used the first route from Two Steps, but found it was not the summit route at the end. Fortunately, we downloaded another route and successfully reached the summit after detouring for two hours. (It is recommended to drive from the inn to the starting point of the climb, which can save about 2 kilometers and 40 minutes of walking time.) Leech Prevention: During the rainy season, be cautious of leeches. After completing the first half of the hike and reaching above 3400 meters, there are basically no leeches. Avoid areas with water in the first half, tuck your pant legs into your socks, and check for leeches periodically. As long as it is not raining, there should be no major issues.
