#Kyoto🇯🇵 Joruriji Temple#
Joruri-ji Temple is located in Kizugawa City, Kyoto Prefecture. It is said to have been built in the 8th century AD and is a place for monks to practice and study. According to records, the first main hall of Joruri was built in 1047 AD. A small wooden statue of Bhaisajyaguru was enshrined in the hall, which is said to be the same statue enshrined in the hall today. In 1107, nine statues of Amitabha were enshrined in Joruri-ji Temple along with other Buddha statues.
According to historical records, a large number of temples were built at that time to house the nine statues of Amitabha Buddha. These temples were built at the request of the royal family and other nobles. Joruri-ji Temple is the last example of such a temple and is therefore an important testimony to the flourishing worship of Amitabha Buddha and the Western Paradise at that time. The current main hall was moved here in 1157, but its origin is currently unclear. In addition, the current three-story pagoda was originally built in Kyoto, but was dismantled and moved to Joruri-ji Temple in 1178. The Pure Land Garden and Pond were originally built in 1150, excavated in 1976, and subsequently restored. #2024TravelReview

[Kyoto/Kizugawa] A toy box-like shop that's a must-see for Toy Story fans
🧀 Gustale
📍Kizugawa, Kyoto (right next to Shumidai 5-chome bus stop)
I haven't had a chance to go to Gustale in a while, so I've been wanting to go there for a while💗
Toy Story fans will want to go there✨
This time I ordered
Tom and Jerry set (1650 yen)
+ 1 cheesecake
Blue sky soda (800 yen)
I had been interested in the Tom and Jerry cupcakes before I went🧁
The set included 2 cupcakes and 1 cheesecake💗
So cute💕
It wasn't too sweet, it was moist and delicious!
The rare cheesecake was fluffy and light, so I could eat it in one go🧀
The heart was filled with strawberry sauce🍓
The blue sky soda had the cloud pattern of the wallpaper in Andy's room☁️
It was so cute that it came with icing cookies☺️
There were Toy Story items everywhere and merchandise was on sale! I've always wanted a mogu kayu and there's a Talking Potato Head, so I hope to get one someday 💗
It's a shop in Kyoto, but I was able to get there by bus in about 16 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station.
The shop is in front of the bus stop, so it's easy to get to ☺️
There's also a parking lot in front of the shop, so it's convenient 🚗
It was a cute shop ✨
A shop recommended for Toy Story fans, Disney fans, and Tom and Jerry fans.
I'd like to visit again when I'm in the area 💕

【Kyoto·Iwafune Temple·2024】
The earliest history of Iwafune Temple can be traced back to 729, which is almost 1280 years of history. Although it has experienced wars, fires, etc., the buildings in the temple have been constantly repaired and rebuilt. But still, they remain to this day after these storms.
The main hall has a 3-meter-high seated statue of Amitabha Buddha handed down from the Heian period, as well as statues of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Bhaisajyaguru, and precious Yaksha Twelve Generals, etc. There is a kind of surprise that the sparrow is small but complete.
After leaving the main hall, I went to see the red three-story pagoda. What's interesting is that there are wooden carvings of \"Amanojaku\" supporting the eaves on the side of the three-story pagoda. If you don't look carefully, you will completely overlook these interesting little details.
Because it was during the New Year's visit, the temple specially gave \"Omamori\".

️🏞️🌸Feel the magic at Yamanaka Shrine🪭Umijusanji Temple⛩️🏞️🌸
Haizhushan Temple is located in the mountains, and the natural atmosphere is refreshing. The most anticipated thing is the shrine in the mountain and the magnificent five-story pagoda. The shrine exudes an ancient sense of mystery, and the five-story pagoda rises into the clouds, as if connecting the sky and the earth. I can't wait to start my magical journey.
I strolled along the mountain path, my eyes constantly searching every corner. 🚶♀️🔍🌸Each mountain shrine is full of historical atmosphere, and they display divine power in different forms and statues. Some shrines are surrounded by ancient trees, while others are quietly located at the foot of the mountain. Every place seemed to convey a divine message to me. I felt a sense of awe and humility that made me respect nature and the sacred even more.
What impressed me most was the five-story pagoda. ⛩️🌸😲When I stood in front of the five-story pagoda, I was shocked by its magnificence. It towers into the clouds, sparkling with golden light under the sunlight. The five-story structure showcases exquisite craftsmanship and traditional aesthetics. I felt a sense of spirituality and sublimity, as if I was one with time and space. This spectacular and magical scenery gave me a deeper understanding of history and religion.
Kaijusanji Temple is a place worth visiting. Let us explore the magical journey of the mountain shrine and the five-story pagoda together. ⛩️🏞️🌸If you are curious about ancient temples, mysterious shrines and traditional architecture, I highly recommend you to come to this sacred place and experience the magic of Haijushan Temple!

【Kyoto · Yuki no Iwaya Boat Temple · 2023】
Kyoto's Iwafune Temple is located in the remote Kamogikawa area, so it is not easy to melt immediately after snowfall. Therefore, the Iwafune Temple in the snow scene can retain more time for tourists. The snowy silver world is not very common in Kyoto. If you miss the days of snow scenes in the city, why not come to Iwafune Temple and take a look? It will definitely give you a new and bright feeling.
