【Kyoto·Iwafune Temple·2024】

The earliest history of Iwafune Temple can be traced back to 729, which is almost 1280 years of history. Although it has experienced wars, fires, etc., the buildings in the temple have been constantly repaired and rebuilt. But still, they remain to this day after these storms. The main hall has a 3-meter-high seated statue of Amitabha Buddha handed down from the Heian period, as well as statues of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Bhaisajyaguru, and precious Yaksha Twelve Generals, etc. There is a kind of surprise that the sparrow is small but complete. After leaving the main hall, I went to see the red three-story pagoda. What's interesting is that there are wooden carvings of \"Amanojaku\" supporting the eaves on the side of the three-story pagoda. If you don't look carefully, you will completely overlook these interesting little details. Because it was during the New Year's visit, the temple specially gave \"Omamori\".
