[Yamato Sanzan and Fujiwara-kyo] ⛰️ World Heritage candidate🌎
🏖️Overview:
The Yamato Sanzan refers to the three mountains that float like islands🏝️ in the Nara Basin: Mount Miminari⛰️ at 139m above sea level, Mount Kagu⛰️ at 152m above sea level, and Mount Unebi⛰️ at 198m above sea level. They are known as easy-to-climb mountains, and have been loved by people since ancient times, with many waka poems〽︎ being written about them. There is also a legend that Mount Unebi is likened to a woman👩, and Mount Miminari and Mount Kagu, likened to a man, fought over love. On the other hand, Fujiwara-kyo was the first full-scale capital of Japan, modeled after the Chinese capital Chang'an, and its historic site is a candidate for the next World Heritage Site🌎.
💞Reasons why we recommend it:
I've always wanted to climb the Yamato Sanzan, the stage of ancient history. First, before climbing Mount Unebi, I went to Kashihara Shrine⛩️, the tomb of the first Emperor Jimmu. After walking along the quiet white sand pebble road, we headed to Mt. Unebi. We reached the summit in no time. Afterwards, we walked while feeling the early summer 🚶. We then went to Mt. Amanokagu, famous for the song "Spring has passed, and summer has come, the white clothes hang out to dry on Mt. Amanokagu."
It feels like a very intellectual 🧐 culture. After that, on the way to Mt. Miminashi, we went to Fujiwara-kyo, the site of Japan's first full-scale capital. We also conquered Mt. Miminashi 😃It was a day filled with the romance of history 💕.
