The check-in process was a nightmare, requiring us to go back and forth between reception and our room at least four times before a staff member accompanied us to room 419 to verify the room key problem. They kindly moved us to room 420, although it lacked the airport view we had chosen earlier. Unsurprisingly, the digital key failed too! The reception neglected to give us the complimentary items at check-in, which we had to ask for later. Why should a gold member have to deal with this? 😢

The #edinburgh airport is a well prepared modern airport just a few miles out of the city of Edinburgh and 71miles from #glasgow. It is well connected and using busses or tram you can go easily at Edinburgh city centre or in the most areas of Scotland. 🗓️Tip: it is highly recommended to pre book your bus tickets instead of buying it the moment you will enter the bus. Even though both choices are open, the drivers will always give priority to those passengers who have already purchased a ticket for a specific time! Of course if there are spare seats this is not a big problem, however many times there are big queues especially for big cities like Glasgow! So, to avoid delays, it is always to enter online and buy your bus ticket earlier.

I'm not surprised to tell you that days after this, a report was released about the airports in the UK, and each one was graded on their special assistance. It's only a few minutes' walk from Edinburgh Airport, which is really convenient. The nearby Edinburgh Gateway station is also very close, making it easy to get around Edinburgh city center. There are several famous attractions and restaurants scattered around the hotel, catering to different travel needs. The hotel's decor and facilities are truly amazing! The elegant and grand style interspersed with modern touches makes it feel both luxurious and comfortable. Upon arrival, the front desk offers a warm cookie, which is a super sweet touch❤️. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities: an indoor pool, massage room, business center, and meeting rooms, making it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The room experience was truly great. We stayed in a standard double room, which was very spacious and had a comfortable bed, perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The room is equipped with basic amenities such as a coffee maker and teapot, which is very convenient. The bathroom has 24-hour hot water. The overall experience was excellent, except that the Wi-Fi needs improvement, as the signal is sometimes weak. However, the overall room hygiene is good, and the facilities are well-maintained. There are also many highlights around the hotel! You can walk to Dundas Castle, and there are other attractions nearby such as Your Scottish Tour and Bridge 8 Hub. I highly recommend trying the local craft beer at the Edinburgh Beer Factory🍻. If you like adventure, you can go to Edinburgh International Climbing Arena to experience rock climbing and challenge yourself! Overall, my stay at the Hilton Edinburgh Airport Hotel was a very pleasant experience. Both the hotel service and facilities were impressive. Finally Edinburgh airport !🥰😇🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🛫🏃 has become my base, very nice airport with all the facilities to take the flights for everywhere. Since its the 2nd largest airport in UK!! Recommended guys!🛫🧳🗺️ I have traveled through Edinburgh Airport many times for both domestic and international flights, and overall, it has been a pleasant experience. Flights to Europe are a breeze, and international travel is equally straightforward. The airport operates efficiently, and security checks have never taken me more than 20 minutes, which is a major advantage.

With reasonable price for 2 people and a free shuttle bus to airport every 30 minutes (starting from 3 am), this should be the best Airport Hotel I have ever experienced so far.
