It was a trip to Hebei, China 🇨🇳 Hebei is a province filled with a mix of imperial history, breathtaking natural landscapes, and ancient towns 💯 We explored some of the best places for photography 📸 from the Great Wall to serene lakes and historic sites. We started our Hebei journey in Shanhaiguan, one of the most famous sections of the Great Wall. Arriving early in the morning ☀️ allowed us to capture incredible photos of the ancient fortress bathed in soft golden light ✨ One of the most unique spots we visited was Laolongtou (Old Dragon’s Head), where the Great Wall extends directly into the Bohai Sea 🌊 The combination of stone fortifications and crashing waves made for dramatic and unforgettable photos 📸 📍Shanhaiguan Address: No. 1, Weiyuan Street, Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China 📍Laolongtou Address: No. 1, Laolongtou Road, Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China We also explored the Chengde Mountain Resort, a UNESCO-listed imperial summer retreat used by Qing emperors. I'm going to lie to you - Handan, Hebei 2024.12.22 ||| On a business trip to Xingtai, Hebei, the scenic spots are deserted, so find another way. One hour's drive from Xingtai to Yiquan Lake Wetland Park in Ci County, Handan. It's free. You can see wild geese from November to March every year. The lake is very large. The taxi route is: Wanghong Bridge - Southwest Gate of the Scenic Area - Xiazhuangdian Village, which basically goes around the lake. It's windy, keep warm! 📍Maldives Internet Celebrity Bridge P1-8 Drive or take a taxi to Beiguo Village. When you see the Jiulong Coal Mine sign on the left, drive a few hundred meters and you will see the entrance to the Internet Celebrity Bridge. The one-way length of the bridge is about 1.5 kilometers. You can randomly encounter wild geese while walking and taking photos. If you drive by yourself, you need to return to the entrance. Zhenguo Temple is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in Yixian County. It is located in Jie Village, Lingyunce Township, on the banks of the Zhongyi River. The temple and the stone Buddha both date back to the 11th year of the Kaihuang era of the Sui dynasty. As there is a stone Buddha statue in the hall, Zhenguo Temple is also known as Lifo Temple by locals. In the 7th year of the Guangxu era of the Qing dynasty, the temple was destroyed by a storm. It was later restored, and the three Buddha halls were rebuilt in the 25th year of the Guangxu era. The murals on the east, west, and north walls of the hall are vivid and lifelike. The Buddha statue is a standing statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. It is made of white marble and is 4.92 meters tall. It stands on a lotus pedestal, draped in a kasaya, and painted in color. The carving is delicate, and the lines are smooth, showing the typical style of Sui dynasty Buddhist statues. It is of great reference value for the study of Sui dynasty culture and stone carving art. The hands and feet of the Buddha are now damaged. In July 1993, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.
