During my trip, I found that Hotel Krone Unterstrass (Schaffhauserstrasse 1, Zurich, Switzerland) is a truly recommended accommodation option. The transportation here is very convenient, with the No. 14 tram stop right in front of the hotel. It only takes a few minutes to reach the city center and main shopping areas. For those arriving after a long flight, this place is a quiet and comfortable haven. The hotel is in a great location, just about a 6-minute tram ride from the airport. There are also many attractions and amenities around the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center, and visitors who enjoy walking have the opportunity to experience the unique charm of the city. Although the exterior is under renovation, the interior is simple and efficient, with fully equipped rooms, from air conditioning to basic coffee machines. As soon as you enter the hotel, you can feel the attentive service of the front desk staff. Due to the early flight, we arrived early and thought we would have to wait until the afternoon to check in, but the friendly receptionist arranged for us to check in at 9:30 am, which was very thoughtful. The room was very clean and tidy, with a reasonable layout. The bathroom design is especially great, with windows for natural light, which is rare in hotels. Regarding the room experience, the room size is moderate, the bed is very comfortable, and the air conditioning works well, which is rare in Europe. Although there is no mini fridge in the room, the basic facilities are complete. Although the breakfast options are limited, the quality is very good, and I recommend it to everyone. Staying here, you won't miss the freshly baked croissants every morning. For those who like to explore local cuisine, I highly recommend a few restaurants around the hotel. For example, La Fonte, Elmira Fine Dining, and Schweizerhof Bar, each with its unique flavors and atmosphere. If you want to try authentic Swiss cuisine, you can go to Restaurant Krone Altstetten. There are also beautiful attractions around, which are worth exploring. Of course, Hotel Krone Unterstrass also has some minor flaws. During the renovation period, the noise and inconvenience of external construction did affect the experience of some guests. In addition, if there are temporary minor problems with the room facilities, although the staff will quickly help solve them, it is somewhat inconvenient.
