May Day road trip: Changsha–Changde–Zigui–Wushan–Fengjie (Part 1)

🗓Itinerary: Arrive in Changde on the evening of April 30 and stay near Changde Railway Station. May 1: Because I was attending a friend's wedding, I didn't hang around Changde. After dinner, I went straight to Zigui. I planned to take the G348 and get off the expressway in Yichang, but because of traffic control, I wasn't allowed to enter. So, I got back on the expressway and didn't arrive in Zigui until after 5pm. I skipped Qu Yuan's hometown and went straight to Muyudao Park. It's a great place to see the Three Gorges Dam, with beautiful scenery. I stayed there until 8pm, enjoying the river breeze in the evening before looking for a place to eat. Maybe I didn't go to the right place, but I drove around and couldn't find any place to eat, so I just ordered takeout at the hotel. 🏨Hotel environment: On the night of May 1, I stayed in Zigui at the Xiangxi Chengxi Homestay in the Navel Orange Cultural Tourism Town. The room was large, clean, and well-equipped. There was a washing machine on the first floor, and clothes could be dried on the third floor, which was very convenient. 🌟Highlights: Muyudao Park was a pleasant surprise. It's a free park with a beautiful environment, not crowded, and parking is convenient and inexpensive. I recommend visiting it if you come to Zigui. There were no traffic jams along the way, and the experience was very good.
