Travel guide to Sizhai Village, a famous attraction in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China, suitable for checking in and taking photos📸

#Mainland Travel Sizhai Village is a famous tourist attraction in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China. Thousands of tourists come here for sightseeing and vacation every day. This time I will introduce a travel guide to Sizhai Village. This is an unpopular ancient village with only a few tourists on weekends, making it suitable for ancient architecture enthusiasts. The management of the scenic area is rather extensive, and many residents still live in the old houses. It is primitive and simple, with no traces of commercialization, and has a very strong atmosphere of life. In addition to the Thousand Pillar House, my two favorite buildings are the Huaguogong Villa and the Bifeng Academy. There is no interference from tourists at all, it is quiet and secluded from the world, full of ancient charm, and very photogenic! Recommended attractions: Thousand Pillar House: It can be traced back to the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. It was originally the residence of a wealthy local family in Sizha Village. After several generations of renovation and expansion, it gradually formed its current scale. The interior of the building is supported by a large number of wooden pillars, with more than a thousand of them, hence the name "Thousand Pillar House". Bifeng Academy: Built against the mountain, with a staggered layout, the entire building complex blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural landscape. The lecture halls, study rooms, inscriptions, courtyards and other parts of the academy are well preserved. Huaguogong Villa: Built in 1849 during the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, it is a mixed building combining a family temple and a school built by Si Huaguo's son Si Zhipu and grandson Si Yuanqing in memory of Si Huaguo. The two ancient cypresses in the courtyard are really beautiful. In addition to the Thousand Pillars House, there are no less than seven other houses in the Sizhaitaimen, including Shangxin House, Xiaxin House, Shangmenqianfan, Xiamenqianfan, Xintanjia, etc.; Yuchanghao has a large collection of fine Ming and Qing furniture made of women's needlework (dowry) from Shaoxing area; the small Western-style house was where Eileen Chang lived for a short time and wrote "A Strange Land".
