Zhuanghe Yunpan Valley | A paradise for children

A great place to take kids around Dalian is the Zhuanghe Yunpan Valley day trip||I've been in Dalian for so many years and it's my first time visiting Zhuanghe. Today, instead of the popular Bingyu Valley, we went to the more niche Yunpan Valley. Although there were quite a few people, it was nowhere near as crowded as some places, and the experience was fantastic. Admission is free, parking costs ten yuan, and a combo ticket for three types of boats is just 60 yuan per person, free for children under 1.2 meters. The pedal boats are the same kind you find everywhere, but what's valuable is that they're nominally limited to half an hour, but in reality, no one cares and you can play as long as you like. The water train alone is worth the ticket price, pulling us around a very large loop, with beautiful scenery along the way. The bamboo raft might be a bit of a hassle, but the kids really love it, maybe because it feels novel. In short, for 60 yuan per person, you can easily play for half a day, and the value for money is truly moving. There are two paths to enter, one up the mountain and one down to the river. The mountain path is very, very difficult to walk, and there's no need to reach the top. It's okay to go halfway down the mountain unless you really love hiking. Along the way, there are streams and wooden walkways, and the scenery is nice. By the water is a campsite where children can wear water pants to catch fish. The shore is lined with tents, and the air is filled with the tempting smell of barbecue. Looking at the mountains and waters, it's really delightful, and I just want to lie by the river all day long. On the way here, you have to pass through the town, and the most famous dish is lamb soup. We found a popular place called Wang Er Sister's, which was very busy, and later everyone started making their own pancakes and smashing cucumbers, otherwise, who knows when we would have been able to eat. However, the taste of the lamb soup is still good, not gamey at all, and highly recommended. The mountains here are so green, the water so clear, I'm really looking forward to coming back for rafting in the summer~ Accommodation recommendations: Wang's Courtyard: The courtyard is large with many activities, belonging to the old brand of farmhouses. Yuxi Farmhouse: Relatively new, very clean environment, super delicious food, and the breakfast is only ten yuan per person and also very rich.
