Zhenjiang actually has a "Little Forbidden City"

If you're an architecture enthusiast, you'll definitely love it here‼️ Full of classical Chinese imperial architecture, with soaring eaves and steep cliffs🌿, carved beams and painted rafters, solemn and majestic, 🔴 it really gives off a "Little Forbidden City" vibe, and it is the Zhenjiang Runzhou Taoist Temple. Located in the Jinniu Mountain Scenic Area, it is a national AA-rated tourist attraction. 🐲The predecessor of Runzhou Taoist Temple was the Sanmao Palace Taoist Temple, which was founded during the Sui and Tang dynasties, flourished in the Song dynasty, and has a history of over a thousand years. Later, the original site was destroyed, and in 1999, the original Sanmao Palace Taoist Temple and Huang Daxian Temple were merged to form the current Runzhou Taoist Temple. This Sanmao Palace is not that Sanmao Palace😆 I also stumbled upon it before, and it was my first visit after living in Zhenjiang for over 30 years! It's really photogenic⛰️🌈 My favorite part is the color scheme of the entire temple, with golden dragons coiling around vermilion pillars, and blue-dominated painted patterns interlaced with red wall tiles. These colors are all very classic Chinese colors, and every time I look at them, I am truly impressed by this ancient and ultimate aesthetic.🔴🟢 The antique buildings tell the long history and charm, and they look even more magnificent and dazzling under the sunlight. Among the carved beams and painted rafters, every tile, every brick carries the stories of the years and the wisdom of the craftsmen.
