Great location and unbeatable river view! Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang

There are only a few high-end hotels in Zhenjiang, and Crowne Plaza is undoubtedly the best for river views. The hotel is right next to the river, and the floors are high enough to offer a great view. It's also close to the must-see Xijin Ferry and Jinshan Temple. Although it's not as eye-catching as the Hyatt, the location is unbeatable. The hotel lobby is double-height, with no fancy decorations, but the variety of lamps shows the attention to detail. The room style is like a business hotel from over a decade ago, but it's not dark. There's a desk by the window, and the minibar has a capsule coffee machine with 6 capsules, which is generous. The tea bags are from Chali. The bedroom has a bench at the foot of the bed and a sofa by the window. There's a familiar JBL speaker by the bed. The bedding is comfortable. Although the room facilities are a bit old, the hygiene is impeccable. It's a pity that the bathroom only has a single basin. The bathtub is built-in, and there's a set of small Borghese bottles. The shower has large bottles on the wall and a loofah. Overall, the location is top-notch, and the living experience is good. The lounge and breakfast are excellent. If you don't mind the old room style, this is a great choice.
