Zhanjiang is home to 9 national intangible cultural heritages, including Zhanjiang Human Dragon Dance, Suixi Lion Dance, Leizhou Stone Dog, Leizhou Song, Wuchuan Piaose, Zhanjiang Nuo Dance, Leizhou Opera, Wuchuan Yue Opera Southern School, and Zhanjiang Puppet Show. Zhanjiang Museum, Intangible Cultural Heritage Street, and Guangzhou Bay Historical and Folk Museum, all located on Chikan Old Street, showcase the history of Zhanjiang and the origin and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. The art works developed around Zhanjiang's intangible cultural heritage are diverse and dazzling; the artistic atmosphere is rich and heavy, growing and spreading; the various artistic styles are colorful and competing with each other. If you want to integrate and experience Zhanjiang's intangible cultural heritage, you can visit the above-mentioned streets and museums in Chikan. Just avoid holidays so you can enjoy them quietly. Opening hours of the museum and Intangible Cultural Heritage Street: Some of them are closed at noon, generally from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Some of the small museums on Intangible Cultural Heritage Street are closed for one day on weekends, so remember to plan your time when you go. Transportation: It is not recommended to take public transportation, as the public transportation in Zhanjiang is not in good condition, and some routes have very few vehicles, so you have to wait for more than an hour.
