The Huoguo Lingxian Wang Temple in Xiahuo Village, Danzhu Town, Changzhi Changzi County

The temple is outside the village. The crops are prosperous in summer. I didn’t see the village. The temple is now located where there is also a drama school. There is an inscription on the merits of the 24th year of Jin Dynasty (1184) on the column head (the sandstone pillar cannot be seen clearly), and there is an inscription on the 5th year of Jin Mingchang (1194) on the gate stone (I didn’t know it when I went there, so I didn’t see it). The main hall has three suspended roof tops, with a sandstone platform and six rafters in depth. The eaves and corridor columns are all square stone pillars. The general pattern is Fang, and the forehead of the column is extended to the edge. The pillar pavilion is used as the sixth pavilion with single copy and double false eaves. The paving structures of the three tween rooms are all different. Beware of a single copy, a single false jump, a real jump, a double copy, a double jump, a true jump, and a head jump and an oblique arch, and a west room of a single copy, a single false jump, and a jump. Zhen'ang and Xianqi are played together, and the tween paving has obvious traces of repairs in the Ming Dynasty. The beam frame of the main hall is made of four rafters, and there are three columns for the breast raft. There is a gallery under the breast raft. There is no intervening pavilion on the back eaves, and the pillar pavilion is used as a single pavilion for five pavilions. The back eaves are outside the temple. The temple itself and the opera school are very large. I was in a hurry and it rained and I didn’t have time to take pictures of the back eaves in the evening half a month ago. Tips for visiting: I visited again in the rain. I would like to thank the clerk who opened the door for us despite the rain. The cultural administrators I met during my visit to ancient times in Changzhi were all very nice, and I also saw how water flowed between the main hall and the dedication hall in the rain.
